As part of its long-term technology strategy, the bank is expanding its Core Banking Engineering team and is looking for a Junior Core Banking System Developer with OpenEdge ABL knowledge. 🔍 Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, improve, and support the bank's information systems;

• Develop new system functionality while maintaining and enhancing existing functionality;

• Support business teams by preparing technical solutions and technical specifications;

• Propose improvements and modernisation initiatives for existing systems and resources;

• Continuously develop your technical knowledge and improve your professional qualifications.

🎓 Requirements:

• At least 2 years of practical experience in backend software development;

• Good knowledge of relational databases; experience with OpenEdge databases will be considered an advantage;

• Experience working with version control systems, such as Git;

• Knowledge of the OpenEdge ABL (Advanced Business Language) programming language is required;

• Knowledge of Progress OpenEdge Application Server (PAS) or experience working with similar application server technologies will be considered an advantage;

• Motivation to learn, develop professionally, and adopt new technologies.
