💼 About the Role
The Group Finance Director will take ownership of financial strategy, planning, control and performance management across the entire group. Working closely with shareholders, senior management and local finance teams, you will turn financial data into decisions that improve profitability, cash flow and operational efficiency. You will join at an important point in the planning cycle, with an opportunity to shape the 2027 group budget and strengthen the finance function across all markets.
🔍 Responsibilities
Define and implement the group’s financial strategy in line with business priorities;
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning across multiple companies and countries;
Analyse performance by market, company, business line, product and project, identifying the drivers behind results;
Provide shareholders and senior leaders with scenarios, recommendations and decision-ready financial insight;
Evaluate investments, commercial initiatives and strategic projects from a financial and risk perspective;
Strengthen cash-flow forecasting, working-capital management, financial KPIs and management reporting;
Coordinate group reporting and consolidation while establishing consistent planning and control principles across all entities;
Partner with local chief accountants, auditors, tax advisers and legal specialists to manage country-specific financial and tax risks;
Lead and develop the finance team, setting clear objectives and strengthening accountability for results;
Improve finance and accounting processes through automation, analytics and better use of management information systems.
🎓 Requirements
University degree in finance, economics or a closely related field;
At least 5 years of experience leading a finance department or finance function, preferably within a group of companies;
Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, performance control, cash-flow management and financial analysis;
Sound understanding of accounting, taxation and the Lithuanian regulatory environment;
Experience managing finance across several companies, business units or operational areas;
Proven ability to lead teams, challenge decisions constructively and deliver complex change;
Excellent Lithuanian and Russian, with good written and spoken English;
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience working with financial or analytical systems.
Nice to Have
Experience as a Group Finance Director, Group CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance in an international organisation;
Background in FinTech, payments, banking technology, IT, telecommunications or international B2B services;
Hands-on experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools;
Knowledge of Rivilė, with 1C experience considered an additional advantage;
Experience improving or automating finance and accounting processes.
