🌍 About the Company
The client is an international banking technology company providing software, ATM infrastructure, self-service solutions, and payment technologies. Its products support banks, financial institutions, and retail networks across dozens of countries. You will join an established business where the finance function supports both Lithuanian operations and subsidiaries within an international group.
💼 About the Role
You will manage payroll accounting for one Lithuanian company with 100+ employees, using Vikarina for payroll and Rivilė for broader accounting processes. Alongside salaries and statutory declarations, you will handle business travel accounting, subsidiary transactions, reconciliations, and regulatory reports. This position suits an experienced accountant who is comfortable taking ownership of varied, detail-focused work.
🔍 Responsibilities
Calculate salaries and prepare the related personal income tax and Sodra declarations;
Verify business travel orders and enter travel-related invoices into Rivilė;
Calculate daily allowances, submit them for payment, and record travel expenses in the relevant Excel files;
Calculate the portion of each employee’s salary attributable to business travel periods and record it in the travel expense files;
Organise business travel documentation, including orders, requests, daily allowance calculations, and travel and accommodation expenses;
Issue VAT invoices for services and prepare acceptance acts and VAT invoices for platform maintenance provided to subsidiaries;
Enter purchase VAT invoices into Rivilė, review cash-flow tables received from subsidiaries, and forward them as required;
Reconcile and offset balances, record offsets in Rivilė and PDS, and verify consistency between both systems;
Submit statistical reports and reports to the Bank of Lithuania, while maintaining service and cash-flow tables using data from Rivilė;
Register new employees in Rivilė, process Bitė VAT invoices, verify services used for employees’ personal needs, and issue employee invoices where applicable.
🎓 Requirements
Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
At least 5 years of accounting experience, including substantial hands-on payroll accounting work;
Strong practical knowledge of Lithuanian payroll, personal income tax, Sodra reporting, and statutory requirements;
Broader practical experience with Rivilė, extending beyond payroll-related entries;
Experience using Vikarina for payroll accounting;
Working proficiency in Russian;
Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete reconciliations and reporting accurately;
Ability to manage recurring deadlines and work independently across several accounting processes.
Nice to Have
Experience working in a larger company or corporate group;
Experience accounting for transactions involving subsidiaries;
Familiarity with PDS and cross-system reconciliations;
Experience preparing statistical or Bank of Lithuania reports.
