This role supports day-to-day payment operations, ensuring the payment gateway runs smoothly and meets the needs of both merchants and internal teams. It’s a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with payment systems, solving practical challenges, and contributing to stable, high-quality operations.
💼 About the Role
The Acquiring Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for the administration and operational support of the IT infrastructure for acquiring services. This includes, but is not limited to, system operation, monitoring, configuration, and development activities to ensure the Company’s services remain secure, stable, and sustainable.
🔍 Responsibilities:
Ensure operational and technical maintenance for the IT infrastructure, including administration, monitoring, and development.
Monitor systems performance to ensure continuous integrity, availability, and optimal operation.
Ensure systems data is accurate and up to date.
Monitor data usage, regulate access rights, and maintain data flows within the systems.
Coordinate the development and maintenance of IT Disaster Recovery Plans.
Support development of measures to improve the availability of information resources and participate in implementation.
Create data backups in accordance with established procedures.
Ensure the security of IT infrastructure according to internal policies and procedures.
Periodically evaluate existing servers, networking equipment, and office hardware, including their depreciation status.
Perform periodic software updates for servers and workstations.
Prevent the use of unauthorized software.
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with server equipment and workstations.
Manage stock and order equipment within the approved budget.
Maintain office equipment.
Participate in IT and business projects to ensure proper implementation.
Test new system versions and manage their deployment into production.
Support integration of the Payment Gateway system with third-party systems.
Support customer integrations with the acquiring systems.
Participate in the setup, configuration, and updating of Payment Gateway system entities upon request (customers, projects, terminals, etc.).
Participate in the implementation of configuration changes, including routing, geolocation, limits, velocity controls, and other system parameters.
Participate in and coordinate investigations related to incidents and potential security breaches.
Provide guidance and support to internal business users and external customers.
Ensure the development and maintenance of infrastructure, user and customer documentation and instructions.
Participate in system improvement initiatives and the introduction of new technologies.
Continuously improve professional skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Perform other duties related to the position as assigned by company management.
🎓 Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 3 years of experience, specifically in the administration of IT infrastructure for acquiring services.
Understanding of acquiring products and payment processing.
Knowledge of IT technologies relevant to acquiring services.
Knowledge of logical and physical security.
Experience in servers and networking administration.
Experience in PCI/DSS certification.
Ability to act effectively in non-standard situations, adapt quickly to changes, and interpret rules in the Company’s best interest.
Fluency in English and Russian.
Initiative, decisiveness, and the ability to work independently.
Positive, responsible, and result-oriented mindset, with the ability to work under pressure.
