💼 About the Role

As Head of Project Management, you will lead a department of around 6 professionals and take ownership of project delivery across banking software and ATM infrastructure implementations. You will work closely with clients, engineering, product, infrastructure, QA and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and to a high quality standard. The role combines strategic leadership, process improvement and hands-on involvement in complex delivery when needed.

🔍 Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Project Management Department across multiple technology delivery streams;

• Own end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects for banking and ATM infrastructure clients;

• Ensure delivery performance across timelines, scope, budget, quality, profitability and resource utilization;

• Coordinate cross-functional work between software engineering, product, infrastructure, QA and testing teams;

• Act as a senior point of contact for banking clients and strategic partners during project execution;

• Build, improve and embed scalable project management methodologies, governance and reporting processes;

• Allocate resources, prioritize initiatives and monitor performance across multiple complex engagements;

• Prepare project updates, risk assessments and delivery reports for senior management;

• Identify risks early, resolve delivery challenges and maintain clear stakeholder communication;

• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and high-quality execution within the project team.

🎓 Requirements

• Proven experience in IT or software project management, ideally in complex technology delivery environments;

• Previous experience leading project managers, delivery teams or a project management department;

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, IT delivery frameworks and implementation governance;

• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in multi-stakeholder project environments;

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including communication with clients, senior leadership and technical teams;

• Professional working proficiency in English;

• Russian language skills, both spoken and written, are mandatory;

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to improve processes, workflows and team performance.

Nice to Have:

• Experience delivering projects in banking, payments, FinTech or financial services technology;

• Background with ATM systems, banking infrastructure or highly customized financial software solutions;

• Experience working with QA and manual testing teams on complex software integrations;

• Understanding of project financial performance, including profitability, utilization and delivery efficiency.
