🌍 About the Company
The client is an established Lithuanian telecommunications, internet, IPTV, IT infrastructure, and technology services company with a long operating history and a stable customer base. The company serves both business and private clients, with services where reliability, data security, infrastructure quality, and customer trust are critical.
This is not a start-up leadership role. The employer is looking for a hands-on executive who can lead a structured organisation with established processes, clear Board expectations, existing operational challenges, and a team that needs direction, accountability, and commercial momentum.
💼 About the Role
The Managing Director will take full responsibility for the company’s business performance, operational discipline, team leadership, customer relationships, and execution of Board-approved goals.
The role requires a leader who understands how to run a service-based technology or infrastructure business of comparable scale, can evaluate IT and technical operations with confidence, and can represent the company credibly in front of clients, partners, employees, and shareholders.
🔍 Responsibilities
Lead the company’s day-to-day operations and ensure clear execution of Board-approved strategic and financial objectives;
Take ownership of revenue, cost control, profitability, budgeting, operational efficiency, and business results;
Translate shareholder and Board expectations into practical action plans, measurable targets, and accountable follow-up;
Strengthen sales performance and identify growth opportunities across telecommunications, internet, IPTV, IT infrastructure, and related technology services;
Evaluate and challenge the work of senior functional leaders, including IT, technical operations, sales, customer service, finance, and administration;
Ensure reliable service delivery, customer data protection, infrastructure security, and contractual commitments to clients and partners;
Build a stronger leadership culture by aligning managers around priorities, responsibilities, communication, and results;
Represent the company professionally in meetings with key clients, suppliers, partners, institutions, and industry stakeholders;
Improve internal processes, reporting discipline, service quality, and cross-functional cooperation;
Prepare clear performance updates, forecasts, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for the Board.
🎓 Requirements
Must Have:
5+ years of experience as a CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, COO, or business unit leader with full operational responsibility;
Recent leadership experience in a company or business unit of comparable operational scale, ideally with at least 50+ employees or similar revenue, customer, and process complexity;
Proven experience managing shareholder or Board expectations, including targets, performance reviews, implemented initiatives, and lessons from missed objectives;
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, telecommunications, managed services, connectivity, data security, or technology service operations;
Ability to evaluate technical and IT leadership decisions, client requirements, service risks, infrastructure commitments, and contract obligations;
Demonstrated track record in improving commercial performance, operational discipline, profitability, and team accountability;
Full professional commitment to the role, with no active personal business involvement that would create a conflict of interest or make this a secondary project;
Fluent English and Russian language skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience in telecommunications, internet services, IPTV, data centres, managed IT services, banking technology, or infrastructure-heavy B2B services;
Previous leadership experience in a Lithuanian or Baltic organisation with established processes and legacy operations;
Experience working with Boards, shareholders, or group-level governance structures;
University degree in Business Management, IT, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field;
Knowledge of data protection, information security, service-level agreements, and infrastructure risk management.
🤝 Key Competencies
Strong executive presence with the ability to engage employees, clients, partners, and shareholders with confidence;
Proactive leadership style, with clear ownership of preparation, decisions, communication, and results;
Strategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on approach to operations and problem solving;
Ability to lead structured organisations through change without losing operational stability;
Commercial mindset with enough technical understanding to make sound infrastructure and service decisions;
High personal accountability, maturity, and motivation to lead the company as a primary professional commitment.
✨ The Employer Offers
Opportunity to lead a respected Lithuanian technology and telecommunications services business;
Direct cooperation with the Board, shareholders, and senior management team;
Clear mandate to improve commercial performance, operational quality, and organisational discipline;
High level of autonomy in decision-making within agreed strategic and financial goals;
Exposure to complex client, infrastructure, IT, connectivity, and service delivery projects;
Stable business foundation with room to modernise processes, strengthen teams, and build long-term value;
Competitive executive compensation of €7,500 - €8,000 gross monthly;
