Our client - an established banking and financial technology leader that delivers specialized software and tech solutions for banks, financial institutions and retail organizations across 80+ countries, is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Team Lead to elevate the quality standards of complex banking and retail software platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering excellence, product delivery and operational reliability, ensuring software used by financial institutions meets the highest performance and stability standards. You will lead a team of QA engineers while working closely with developers, product managers and support teams to build robust testing frameworks and scalable quality processes.
The Quality Assurance Team Lead will lead a team of 6 professionals working in a hybrid setup - with part of the team based in the Vilnius office and others working remotely from different cities or countries.
If you thrive in fast-moving fintech environments and enjoy building strong QA teams that deliver reliable products, this role offers both ownership and impact.

Define and implement QA strategies, testing frameworks, and release validation processes;
Plan and oversee testing activities including system, integration, regression and UAT testing;
Establish and maintain QA standards, processes and documentation across multiple products;

Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering teams during requirements refinement and sprint planning;
Identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle and propose mitigation strategies;
Monitor QA metrics including defect density, test coverage, and release quality indicators;
Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production or client-reported issues;
Drive continuous improvement of QA practices, tools, and automation capabilities;
A significant part of the role involves testing complex ATM-related software products, where hardware integrations and the uniqueness of the solutions make the testing process more technically demanding than in typical software environments;
Manual testing plays an important role in validating ATM software functionality and ensuring reliable integration with banking systems and physical devices;
Part of the QA team works closely with project teams to test software integrations within banking environments, although team responsibilities may evolve depending on project needs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical detail;
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and support teams;
Professional working proficiency in both English and Russian;
