💼 About the Role
As Partnerships & Onboarding Manager, you will lead the onboarding of APM providers and acquiring banks from an existing partner pipeline.
You will take partners from first contact through commercial negotiation, contract alignment, technical setup, and launch. The role directly supports the company’s ability to offer merchants broader payment coverage, stronger local payment options, and better processing performance.
🔍 Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end onboarding for APM providers and acquiring banks, from first contact to contract, integration, and go-live;
Keep partner onboarding projects moving by coordinating timelines, blockers, and next steps with external partners and internal teams;
Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with payment partners during the onboarding process;
Track onboarding status, timelines, risks, delays, and dependencies across multiple partner projects;
Maintain clear records of partner agreements, technical integration progress, and launch readiness;
Coordinate with technical, compliance, risk, and commercial stakeholders to support smooth partner activation;
Monitor partner performance after launch, including approval rates, coverage, costs, and operational quality;
Recommend improvements to payment coverage, partner setup, pricing, and performance based on post-launch data;
Identify and approach new APM, acquiring, and payment infrastructure partners to strengthen the network;
Represent the company in partner meetings, industry events, and payments conferences when required.
🎓 Requirements
2+ years of experience in FinTech, payments, partner onboarding, account management, partnerships, or a similar role;
Good understanding of the payments ecosystem, including acquiring, alternative payment methods, payment gateways, and merchant payment flows;
Experience managing partner onboarding cycles involving commercial, technical, and operational coordination;
Ability to negotiate business terms and support contract discussions with external partners;
Strong project management skills, with the ability to run several onboarding projects in parallel;
Clear and proactive communication style with partners, internal teams, and senior stakeholders;
Fluent English for international partner communication;
Comfortable working with timelines, status tracking, documentation, and follow-ups.
Nice to Have
Experience working directly with acquiring banks, PSPs, APM providers, or payment gateways;
Familiarity with compliance, risk, KYB, AML, or due diligence processes in payment partnerships;
Additional languages relevant to European or international payment markets;
Experience attending or representing a company at FinTech or payments industry events.
