Our client is an award-winning European Electronic Money Institution helping businesses simplify global payments through modern financial infrastructure. Since launching in 2019, the company has built an international payments ecosystem serving clients across 30+ countries.
Its products include multi-currency accounts, international transfers, payment cards, BIN sponsorship, escrow solutions, and embedded payment services. As the company expands further across Europe, it offers a strong platform for commercial leaders who understand payments, regulated financial services, and enterprise client acquisition.
💼 About the Role
As Head of Sales, you will lead commercial growth across European markets and take ownership of enterprise client acquisition. The role combines hands-on strategic sales, senior relationship building, negotiation, and close collaboration with Product, Compliance, Financial Institutions, and Operations.
You will help the company win high-value clients, open new revenue opportunities, and build a scalable sales culture within a growing FinTech business.
🔍 Responsibilities
Own and execute the commercial sales strategy across European market;
Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and onboarding;
Build strategic relationships with corporate clients, marketplaces, payment companies, and international businesses;
Develop a sustainable pipeline of high-value opportunities across payments, embedded finance, and financial services;
Identify new revenue streams and commercial opportunities for existing payment products;
Work closely with Product, Financial Institutions, Compliance, and Operations to deliver tailored client solutions;
Negotiate complex commercial agreements, pricing models, and partnership structures;
Represent the company at international FinTech conferences and industry events;
Mentor the commercial team and help build a high-performance sales culture.
🎓 Requirements
5+ years of B2B sales experience in FinTech, payments, banking, or financial services;
Proven success selling complex financial products to enterprise clients;
Strong understanding of payment infrastructure, including IBAN accounts, SEPA, SWIFT, international payments, and payment cards;
Experience working with regulated financial institutions or regulated financial products;
Excellent commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills;
Ability to build pipeline, close enterprise deals, and manage long sales cycles;
Fluent English.
Nice to Have
Experience with BIN sponsorship, embedded payments, escrow solutions, or multi-currency accounts;
Existing network across European FinTech, payments, marketplaces, or international business sectors;
Additional European languages;
Previous experience mentoring or leading a sales team.
