The client is a well-established Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Lithuania, delivering secure and scalable financial solutions across international markets.
With direct participation in Mastercard, SWIFT, and SEPA Instant networks, the company provides payment infrastructure, embedded finance solutions, and multi-currency services to businesses operating across Europe and beyond.
As the business continues to strengthen its financial operations and expand its international reach, the company is looking for an Accountant to join its Vilnius office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who wants to gain hands-on experience within a mature FinTech environment operating under regulated financial standards.
🔍 Responsibilities:
Execute daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, transaction processing, and accounting system administration;
Process invoices, payment-related documentation, and internal financial requests accurately and within deadlines;
Monitor account balances, operational limits, and liquidity positions across banking and payment channels;
Perform reconciliations of financial transactions and support the accuracy of multi-currency accounting records;
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities;
Support preparation of internal financial reports and standardized regulatory reporting;
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal financial controls, and operational procedures;
Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth financial processes;
Assist during audits and provide supporting financial documentation when required;
Contribute to ongoing improvements in accounting workflows and reporting efficiency.
🎓 Requirements:
2–3 years of practical accounting experience;
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial administration processes;
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial data;
Professional or intermediate English language skills;
High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail;
Ability to work efficiently in a structured and regulated financial environment;
Previous experience in banking, payments, FinTech, or financial services is considered an advantage.
