Our client is a well-established and globally recognised FinTech company with over a decade of success in the payments industry is strengthening its commercial team. Known for its robust acquiring infrastructure, strong product suite, and trusted reputation, the client is expanding its focus on high-risk merchant segments.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a mature, scalable product and leverage the credibility of a respected market player while building long-term client partnerships worldwide.
🔍 Responsibilities:
Identify, engage, and onboard high-risk merchants across the relevant industries;
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and ongoing relationship management;
Position and sell advanced acquiring solutions tailored to complex merchant needs;
Build and maintain a strong international sales pipeline across Europe and global markets;
Collaborate with risk, compliance, and onboarding teams to ensure efficient merchant approval processes;
Structure and negotiate commercial terms aligned with risk profiles and revenue targets;
Leverage the company’s strong market reputation to accelerate deal conversion and client trust;
Track market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity within high-risk verticals;
Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings;
Maintain accurate pipeline and performance reporting using CRM tools.
🎓 Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in payments, FinTech, or merchant acquiring sales;
Hands-on experience working with high-risk verticals (e.g. iGaming, Forex, crypto, CBD, adult);
Understanding of acquiring, payment flows, and risk/compliance dynamics;
Proven ability to close deals and build long-term client relationships;
Strong negotiation and communication skills;
Fluent English (additional languages are a plus);
Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a competitive environment;
Based in or willing to relocate to Riga.
