The client operates in the fintech, crypto and regulatory compliance space, helping regulated companies prepare for and manage complex requirements such as DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and broader ICT / cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
As regulatory pressure increases across Europe, the company is strengthening its commercial team and is looking for a Business Development & Partnerships Manager who already understands the fintech / banking / compliance ecosystem and knows how to open the right doors.
This is not a classic full cycle sales role. Your main value will be your network, ability to identify relevant opportunities, build warm introductions and create qualified conversations. The later stages of the sales process, negotiations and contract closing will be supported by experienced senior sales professionals already working within the company.
🔍 Responsibilities:
Identify fintechs, EMIs, PIs, crypto companies, regulated financial institutions and B2B SaaS companies with active or upcoming compliance needs;
Use your existing network to open doors and create warm introductions with relevant decision-makers;
Build targeted outreach through LinkedIn, email, calls, events and partner channels;
Engage C-level executives, founders, Heads of Compliance, Legal, Risk, IT Security and Operations;
Identify companies preparing for DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, SOC 2, audits, licensing or CISO-related requirements;
Generate and qualify relevant opportunities before handing them over to the senior sales team;
Work closely with experienced sales colleagues who will support the later sales process, negotiations and closing;
Build and manage partnerships with law firms, fintech associations, compliance advisors, consultants and ecosystem players;
Represent the company at fintech, banking, compliance and cybersecurity events before, during and after the event;
Reactivate dormant prospects and identify new angles for previously stalled opportunities;
Maintain accurate CRM records and keep pipeline information up to date.
🎓 Requirements:
Experience in business development, partnerships, sales development or commercial roles within fintech, payments, banking, crypto, regtech, compliance, cybersecurity, IT compliance or related B2B sectors;
Existing network across fintech, banking, payments, compliance, risk, legal, operations or cybersecurity decision-makers;
Ability to open conversations and create warm introductions with relevant companies;
Understanding of regulated financial services and willingness to quickly learn more about DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and ICT compliance topics;
Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills;
Commercial mindset and ability to recognise where a client may have a real compliance or risk-related need;
Proactive, self-driven and comfortable working with high ownership;
Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders, founders and C-level decision-makers;
Fluency in English; German, Polish or other European languages would be an advantage.
✨ The Employer Offers:
Uncapped bonus structure linked directly to your performance and generated opportunities;
Opportunity to monetize your existing fintech, banking or compliance network;
A door-opening role where you are supported by an experienced internal senior sales team;
Exposure to fast-growing regulatory topics such as DORA, NIS2, ICT risk, cybersecurity compliance and operational resilience;
High-ownership role with direct impact on commercial growth;
Hybrid work model with a strong team presence in Vilnius;
Dynamic, international environment with ambitious and entrepreneurial colleagues;
Opportunity to build a strong personal brand within the fintech and compliance ecosystem.
The indicated compensation range reflects expected total monthly gross compensation, consisting of fixed base salary and performance-based bonuses. The final base salary and bonus structure will depend on the candidate’s experience, network and commercial potential, and will be discussed individually during the recruitment process.
