The client operates at the intersection of fintech, crypto and regulatory compliance, supporting companies navigating complex frameworks such as MiCA, DORA and NIS2. As demand for compliance expertise accelerates, they are scaling their commercial function with a sharp, opportunity-driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager.
This role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments and knows how to turn signals into revenue. You will play a critical role in identifying, engaging and converting high-value prospects while working closely with senior sales leadership.
🔍 Responsibilities:
Identify and target companies with active or upcoming compliance needs across EU regulatory frameworks (MiCA, DORA, ISO, NIS2);
Build and execute highly targeted outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) focused on quality conversations, not volume;
Leverage market signals (hiring trends, funding rounds, regulatory exposure) to generate timely and relevant outreach;
Engage decision-makers (C-level, Heads of Compliance, Legal, Risk) and build strong initial relationships;
Generate and qualify pipeline opportunities aligned with revenue goals;
Collaborate closely with Account Executives, supporting deals post-handover to help move them forward;
Activate and manage partnerships (law firms, fintech associations, ecosystem players) to drive inbound and referral opportunities;
Represent the company at industry events—before, during, and after—to generate and nurture leads;
Reactivate dormant prospects and re-engage stalled opportunities with fresh positioning;
Maintain CRM hygiene and ensure accurate tracking of all pipeline activities.
🎓 Requirements:
Proven experience in business, sales development or partnerships within fintech, payments, crypto, or related sectors;
Strong understanding (or willingness to learn quickly) of IT and regulatory compliance landscapes;
Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound and relationship-driven approaches;
Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders;
Highly proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy;
Clear focus on pipeline generation and supporting revenue outcomes;
Strong adaptability and openness to feedback in a fast-evolving environment;
Fluency in English, additional languages such as German or Polish are a strong advantage.
