Our client is a well-established and recognised in UK and EU global payments provider with over a decade of experience delivering end-to-end payment infrastructure to PSPs, banks, and merchants.
As a licensed financial institution and principal member of major card schemes, the company is actively expanding its commercial footprint across Europe and the UK.
The Senior Sales Executive role sits at the heart of that growth - focused on scaling merchant acquiring and alternative payment solutions in a highly competitive FinTech landscape. You’ll work with e-commerce businesses and strategic partners, helping them optimise payment performance while driving revenue for the business.
🔍 Responsibilities:
Drive new business acquisition by selling card acquiring and alternative payment solutions to e-commerce merchants and partners;
Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects across EU markets;
Position payment solutions effectively by aligning product capabilities with client needs and revenue goals;
Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging payment methods to refine sales strategy;
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums;
Identify new verticals and expansion opportunities to accelerate commercial growth;
Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasts, and reporting with high attention to detail;
Collaborate with internal teams (product, risk, compliance) to ensure smooth onboarding and client success.
🎓 Requirements:
Proven track record in FinTech or payments sales, particularly in merchant acquiring or alternative payment methods;
Strong understanding of the e-commerce payments ecosystem, including PSPs and payment flows;
Experience working with international clients and cross-border markets;
Business-fluent English; additional European languages are a strong advantage;
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
Self-driven, proactive mindset with a strong hunter mentality;
Strong organisational skills with experience using CRM systems effectively;
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
