Our client is a small but ambitious Electronic Money Institution (EMI) operating in the European FinTech ecosystem. The company is entering a new growth phase, with a clear ambition to scale significantly and expand into new verticals including payments, digital wallet and crypto-related services.

The CEO role is critical in defining and executing the next stage of growth - combining regulatory leadership with commercial vision. You will drive strategy, build new product lines, and position the company as a competitive FinTech player in Europe.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the company’s long-term strategic vision and growth roadmap;

• Lead expansion into new business lines including payments, e-wallets, and crypto exchange services;

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships across the FinTech ecosystem;

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan aligned with EMI regulations;

• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements for financial institutions (Bank of Lithuania / EU frameworks);

• Oversee operational, financial, and risk management functions;

• Represent the company in front of regulators, partners, and key stakeholders;

• Build and lead a high-performing leadership team;

• Drive revenue growth, market positioning, and product innovation;

• Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and audit readiness.

🎓 Requirements:

• Proven eligibility to serve as a Director of a Financial Institution under EU/Lithuanian regulatory standards;

• Experience as CEO, Managing Director or Deputy CEO in FinTech, banking or EMI;

• Deep understanding of payments, electronic money and financial services infrastructure;

• Experience working with or scaling digital platforms or financial products;

• Knowledge of crypto, digital assets, or exchange operations is a strong advantage;

• Demonstrated success in business development and launching new financial products;

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and regulatory communication skills;

• Fluent in English; Lithuanian is a plus.
