The client is a growing, technology-driven financial services company strengthening its internal IT architecture to support scale, security, and regulatory demands. As an IT Architect, you will play a central role in designing and governing systems that support business-critical platforms. This role matters now as the company modernizes its technology stack and aligns IT decisions with long-term strategy. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to turn complexity into clarity.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain end-to-end IT architecture aligned with business and regulatory requirements;

• Define architecture standards, principles, and target-state solutions across systems;

• Evaluate existing infrastructure and applications, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement areas;

• Guide system integrations, data flows, and API strategies across internal and external platforms;

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural consistency and scalability;

• Support technology selection, vendor evaluation, and architectural decision-making;

• Ensure security, resilience, and performance are embedded into all architectural designs;

• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements across EU and other jurisdictions;

• Document architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and technical guidelines for stakeholders;

• Act as a key advisor to management on IT strategy and long-term technology planning.

🎓 Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role;

• Strong understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud solutions, and system integrations;

• Experience working with complex, multi-system environments;

• Solid knowledge of security, scalability, and performance best practices;

• Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture solutions;

• Experience collaborating with developers, product owners, and non-technical stakeholders;

• Strong knowledge of EU regulations, including DORA and GDPR;

• Strong documentation and communication skills;

• Fluent written and spoken English.
