A fast-growing Payment Service Provider operating in a regulated environment is looking for a Junior Reconciliation Specialist to support its daily payment operations. The company specializes in card payments and alternative payment methods for online merchants, where precision, reliability, and system stability are critical.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys working with numbers, financial data, and structured processes. You’ll gain hands-on experience in transaction reconciliation, payment flows, and operational controls — building a strong foundation in FinTech from day one.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliation of payment transactions across multiple payment methods (cards, APMs, bank transfers)

• Compare internal system data with bank statements and PSP/acquirer reports

• Identify and investigate discrepancies, breaks, and settlement mismatches

• Support clearing and settlement processes with acquiring partners and financial institutions

• Maintain accurate financial and operational records in line with internal controls

• Assist in preparing reconciliation reports for Finance and Operations teams

• Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure transaction transparency

• Monitor payment gateway activity to ensure data integrity and operational stability

• Support month-end closing activities related to reconciliations

🎓 Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of numerical data

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting, filtering, reconciliation logic)

• Basic understanding of financial data, accounting principles, or transaction flows (advantage, but not mandatory)

• Comfortable working in a structured, regulated FinTech environment

• Proactive, disciplined, and able to manage repetitive tasks with consistency

• English – working proficiency
