Our client is a regulated Credit Union providing financial services and lending solutions to both business and private customers in Lithuania. As part of their strategic growth, they are strengthening their corporate lending portfolio and currently seeking an experienced Senior Credit Manager in Kaunas to assess business financing needs, analyse investment projects, and prepare professional recommendations.

This role plays a key part in ensuring responsible growth, prudent risk assessment, and high-quality decision-making within the organisation’s business lending activities.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financing applications from SME and corporate clients;

• Analyse financial statements and assess risk profile;

• Prepare recommendations and present cases to the Credit Committee;

• Structure business loans and assess repayment capacity;

• Monitor existing loan portfolio performance;

• Work closely with management on financing decisions;

• Ensure lending is aligned with internal policies and regulatory standards.

🎓 Requirements:

• Higher education in finance, business, economics or a related field;

• Previous experience in a financial institution (bank, credit union, lending platform, etc.);

• Strong understanding of corporate finance and balance sheets;

• Experience with business lending or credit analysis;

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail;

• Strong communication and presentation skills;

• Lithuanian language is required; English is a plus.
