This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing FinTech company as a Senior Sales Manager, taking full ownership of new merchant sales and long-term account development.
The client is expanding across Europe and beyond, and needs someone who thrives on building relationships, opening new doors, and driving measurable revenue. You will work closely with merchants from mid-market to enterprise level, helping them understand payment technologies and selecting the right payment solutions to grow their business. Headquartered in the UK and fully regulated Payment Institution that was established in 2013. It is a global multi-channel payment gateway and a full-service Payment Service Provider of local e-payment solutions for International Customer Not-Present businesses.
The company provides the new and established online businesses of all sizes with a single solution for collecting and distributing local payments globally via multiple payment channels: credit and debit cards, online and offline bank transfers, e-wallets, pre-paid cards and other alternative payment methods.
🔍 Responsibilities:
- Build, grow, and manage a strong pipeline of mid-market and enterprise merchants across multiple EU and global markets.
- Identify and pursue new merchant acquisition opportunities through research, outreach, networking, and industry channels.
- Conduct proactive prospecting, including cold outreach and direct engagement, to generate high-quality leads.
- Present and explain online payment solutions, including Pay-In and Pay-Out methods, PSP models, and acquiring setups.
- Negotiate commercial terms, onboard merchants, and manage the full end-to-end sales cycle.
- Cross-sell additional payment services to existing clients to maximize revenue and strengthen partnerships.
- Maintain structured reporting, providing weekly updates on pipeline activity and monthly reports on performance and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams — product, risk, compliance, support — to share merchant feedback and improve the offering.
- Represent the company at events, conferences, and merchant meetings across Europe when required.
🎓 Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience selling payment solutions (Pay-In/Pay-Out) to merchants in eCommerce, Gaming, Retail, Digital Marketing, or Entertainment.
- Experience working with PSPs, payment gateways, or acquiring providers.
- Strong network of merchant contacts and knowledge of the competitive payments landscape.
- Ability to identify high-value merchant opportunities and maintain a strong, diversified pipeline.
- Proven experience negotiating commercial terms and building long-term merchant relationships.
- Understanding of PSP platforms, e-wallets, alternative payment methods, and cross-border acquiring.
- Fluent in English and Russian; other European languages are a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, driven, and proactive in solving merchant-related challenges.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across the world for client meetings and industry events.
