Our client — a rapidly growing crypto fintech headquartered in Poland — is looking for an experienced Part Time Director to strengthen its Board. The company is in the process of expanding its European footprint and preparing for a MiCA license upgrade, making this a pivotal moment to join. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with solid financial, regulatory, and governance experience who thrives in a fast-evolving fintech landscape.
🔍 Responsibilities:
- Oversee governance, performance, and strategic direction alongside the executive team.
- Provide regulatory insight to ensure full compliance with Polish financial and EU crypto regulations.
- Support the company through the MiCA licensing process, advising on structure, documentation, and compliance.
- Represent the company before regulatory authorities when necessary.
- Monitor board-level KPIs, ensuring financial and operational accountability.
- Contribute to high-level decision-making on product, market, and risk strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior management on regulatory and corporate matters.
- Foster strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and regulators.
🎓 Requirements:
- Permanent resident of Poland, fluent in Polish and English.
- Minimum 2 years in a senior management role within a financial or fintech institution.
- Proven understanding of regulatory compliance, governance, and risk frameworks.
- Previous Board or Director-level experience within a regulated entity preferred.
- Excellent reputation — no adverse records or sanctions, suitable for regulator scrutiny.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial skills, with the ability to drive business growth.
- Knowledge of crypto and digital assets operations is a strong plus.
