To support this growth, they are seeking a Head of Credit Risk — a senior professional who can lead underwriting, oversee credit portfolio quality, and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on strategic decisions and cross-department collaboration.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Lead the full credit underwriting process, from analyst oversight to Credit Committee decision-making.
• Ensure effective credit risk management processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Develop, implement, and update credit risk policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
• Monitor and analyze credit portfolio performance, identifying early warning signals and mitigation strategies.
• Manage non-performing loan portfolios, including recovery and enforcement processes.
• Oversee IFRS 9 compliance, including impairment modelling and loss calculations.
• Provide expert insights to senior management on credit risk–related strategic decisions.
• Partner with other departments to strengthen company-wide risk management practices.

🎓 Requirements:

• 3+ years of senior experience in risk management within a bank or credit union.
• Proven expertise in credit risk assessment, modelling, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate complex risks.
• Solid understanding of IFRS 9 and credit risk frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher) and Lithuanian.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
