The company is looking for an experienced AML specialist with experience in both 1-st line and 2-nd line areas to ensure the company is fully compliant as it expands its operations. It’s a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in regulated environments, with the chance to work on complex, cross-border cases and high-risk client profiles, including gaming and international structures.
🔍 Responsibilities:
• Oversee AML/CFT framework for CASP license application and ongoing regulatory obligations.
•Develop, implement, and maintain AML/CTF policies and procedures in line with EU and Lithuanian regulations.
•Perform risk assessments on high-risk clients, including gaming and offshore structures.
• Manage KYC/KYB onboarding, enhanced due diligence, and ongoing monitoring processes.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external AML consultants during audits and reviews.
• Provide internal AML training to staff, ensuring awareness and compliance culture.
• Ensure proper documentation, certification, and notarization processes across jurisdictions (e.g., Curaçao, EU).
• Advise leadership on compliance risks and recommend mitigations.
🎓 Requirements:
• 2+ years experience as AML Officer / MLRO / Head of AML in a financial services or FinTech environment.
• Solid knowledge of EU AML directives and Lithuanian regulatory framework.
• Background in handling high-risk clients, gaming, or offshore jurisdictions.
• Experience with the CASP / VASP regulatory landscape is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with external AML audits and remediation projects.
• Strong understanding of KYC/KYB, EDD, and transaction monitoring tools in both fiat and crypto environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
✨ The Employer Offers:
• A high-impact role in an established crypto exchange with growth ambitions.
• Remote or hybrid work model, full-time or part-time.
• Direct exposure to senior leadership and board-level influence.
• Collaborative, international culture focused on balancing compliance with business growth.
• Professional growth and visibility in the fast-growing EU crypto/FinTech sector.
