Our client, an established crypto exchange, is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to take full ownership of financial operations. This role is central to ensuring financial integrity, transparency, and compliance with EU regulations — while enabling the company to scale sustainably in a rapidly evolving FinTech environment. It’s a high-impact position for a finance leader ready to partner with the board and shape the future of a regulated crypto business.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the company’s financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to the Bank of Lithuania and other authorities.

• Maintain robust internal controls, risk management, and financial governance frameworks.

• Partner with compliance, legal, and IT to align financial operations with regulatory standards.

• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making and growth initiatives.

• Conduct variance analysis, monitor KPIs, and propose cost-efficiency measures.

• Act as primary liaison with auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and regulators.

• Oversee accounting, treasury, and financial reporting systems, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

🎓 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (ACCA/CFA is a plus).

• 3+ years in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within FinTech, payments, banking, or high-risk sectors.

• Solid knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and EU financial regulations.

• Hands-on experience in audit, accounting, and financial reporting.

• Proven ability to work with the Bank of Lithuania.

• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with regulators, auditors, IT, and business stakeholders.

• Fluency in English and Lithuanian.
