We’re looking for a skilled Risk Officer to join our client — an established crypto exchange — and take ownership of risk strategy across the business. If you bring deep expertise in risk management, a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks like VASP/CASP, and a proactive mindset to safeguarding growth — this could be your next high-impact move.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Lead risk identification across financial, operational, IT, and reputational domains
• Design and evolve risk frameworks tailored to VASP and CASP compliance
• Develop risk mitigation strategies in line with global regulatory expectations
• Produce clear, data-driven risk reports for the Board and senior stakeholders
• Collaborate across Compliance, Operations, and Tech to ensure unified risk posture
• Monitor and refine risk controls with a continuous improvement mindset
• Oversee incident response protocols and drive post-incident remediation
• Create and update risk policies, ensuring they reflect evolving business needs
• Conduct internal risk awareness training to build a proactive culture
• Track emerging risks in crypto, payments, and regulatory landscapes

🎓 Requirements:

• 3+ years in risk roles within FinTech, crypto, or regulated financial services
• Solid grasp of EU/EEA regulatory frameworks for digital assets and payments
• Bachelor’s in Risk, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Law, or related field
• Hands-on experience with enterprise risk management tools and frameworks
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities; Excel, Power BI or similar
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-makers
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in high-growth, evolving environments
• Fluent in English, Lithuanian or another EU language is a plus
