We’re looking for a detail-driven Merchant Onboarding Specialist to join a fast-paced fintech company and play a key role in merchant due diligence and risk assessment processes. 🔍 Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end onboarding for new merchants – from reviewing company docs to verifying ownership structures;
• Conduct KYC/KYB screening against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media lists;
• Evaluate merchants’ business models and risk profiles in line with internal policies and regulations;
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and sales teams to clear documentation or risk-related issues;
• Ensure onboarding decisions are both timely and accurate – compliance is key!
• Escalate high-risk cases and recommend approvals or rejections;
• Maintain audit-proof records of onboarding assessments;
• Support ongoing merchant monitoring, including periodic reviews and trigger-based re-checks.

🎓 Requirements:

• Fluency in French (spoken, written, and read – all three matter!
• 2+ years of experience in merchant onboarding, compliance, or KYC/AML in fintech or finance;
• Familiarity with global AML/CFT rules and industry best practices;
• The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with a flexible hybrid work model;
• Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical thinking;
• Hands-on with compliance tools like World-Check or Dow Jones;
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive info;
• Good English skills (bonus points for other languages!)
