We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial operations of our growing Electronic Money Institution, regulated by the Bank of Lithuania and operating across high-risk sectors. This is a key executive leadership position responsible for the integrity, efficiency, and transparency of the company’s financial planning, reporting, and compliance in a fast-evolving fintech environment.
🔍 Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the company’s financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting;
- Manage financial risk, ensure liquidity, and oversee capital structure planning;
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory financial reports to the Bank of Lithuania and other regulatory bodies;
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and legal departments to maintain financial integrity and internal control standards;
- Optimize tax and financial structures in accordance with local and EU legislation;
- Supervise and develop finance and accounting teams across multiple jurisdictions;
- Partner with executive leadership to shape business strategy through data-driven financial insight;
- Monitor performance metrics, perform variance analysis, and recommend cost-efficiency measures;
- Liaise with external auditors, banking partners, and regulatory institutions.
🎓 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
- At least 5+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally in fintech, banking, or high-risk industries;
- Deep understanding of EU financial regulations, EMI operational models, and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP);
- Proven experience working with regulatory authorities (e.g., Bank of Lithuania);
- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills;
- High ethical standards and strong business acumen;
- Fluency in English and Lithuanian.
