We are urgently seeking a Credit Officer to join one of the largest credit unions in Lithuania, a financial institution dedicated to responsible lending and long-term client wellbeing. The company's mission is to grow alongside its clients by offering fair, transparent, and sustainable financial services. 

Currently undergoing a transformation into a specialized bank, the credit union is expanding its team to strengthen its operations during this exciting phase.

🚀 About the Role:

As a Credit Officer, you will play a key role in the credit union’s lending operations—managing the full lifecycle of personal loans. Your expertise will directly impact both client satisfaction and the quality of our credit portfolio.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end lending process for individual clients—from consultation to loan disbursement;
• Evaluate client creditworthiness and assess associated risks;
• Prepare loan proposals and documentation;
• Communicate with current and potential clients regarding lending options;
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth, efficient loan processing.

✅ Requirements:

• Proven experience in consumer lending, preferably in credit unions, specialized banks, or fintech;
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment and loan management processes;
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills;
• High level of responsibility and the ability to work independently;
• Fluency in Lithuanian and upper-intermediate English.
