Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Senior POS Payment Software Engineer to join their team. The company specializes in the development, implementation, and support of software for managing EFT POS terminals and transaction routing. Recognized as an experienced Terminal Service Provider across the Baltic States and globally, the company also delivers expert consulting services in the field of electronic payments. 

As a Senior POS Payment Software Engineer, you’ll join an innovative team shaping the next generation of EFT POS terminal and payment gateway solutions. You’ll develop complex Android applications, contribute to architecture, ensure high-quality delivery, and lead implementation from prototype to production.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Develop complex Android applications for EFT POS terminals;
• Define, prototype, and implement new solutions, while maintaining several existing applications;
• Analyze business requirements and assess their impact on software solutions;
• Participate in defining both functional and non-functional requirements for changes;
• Produce high-quality code and unit tests, and support integration and acceptance testing;
• Conduct code reviews, identify improvement areas, and guide developers on best practices;
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of quality payment solutions;
• Contribute to broader application architecture and functional analysis for future innovations;
• Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.

🎓 Requirements:

• Proven experience in EFT POS payment software development;
• Strong Android development skills (Kotlin, Java); knowledge of Jetpack Compose;
• Experience with modular software architecture and separation of concerns;
• EMV Contact & Contactless experience is a plus;
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GIT, and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches;
• Knowledge of TOGAF framework, UML, and C4 Model;
• Knowledge of hardware fundamentals is an advantage;
• Experience with Linux development (C++) is an advantage;
• Fluent English language knowledge. Lithuanian or Russian language knowledge is preferable.
