Our client is a licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) based in Lithuania, currently preparing for MiCA authorization. As their team continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Legal & Compliance Officer with a strong background in the fintech sector. Previous experience in a cryptocurrency company is a significant advantage.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Draft and review internal legal and compliance documents and procedures;
  
• Ensure compliance with MiCA and other relevant EU and national regulations;
  
• Communicate with supervisory authorities and legal consultants;
  
• Conduct risk assessments and oversee KYC/AML processes;
  
• Support licensing processes and prepare required documentation.
  

✅ Requirements:

• University degree in Law;
• At least 2 years of experience in a compliance or legal role within financial services;
• Strong knowledge of EU financial regulations (AML/CTF, MiCA, etc.);
• Experience in the crypto sector is a plus;
• Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills (written and spoken);
• Independent, responsible, and analytical mindset.
