Our client, a fast-growing European fintech and insurtech group, is looking for an experienced FP&A Specialist to develop financial models for regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions and supporting strategic financial planning.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare the financial sections of business plans for regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Create detailed financial projections, including revenue forecasts, expense budgets, capital adequacy requirements, and cash flow analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements such as minimum capital requirements, liquidity ratios, and financial metrics.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to align financial plans with licensing requirements.
• Conduct research on jurisdiction-specific financial regulations and update financial models accordingly.
• Prepare and present financial reports to internal stakeholders and external regulators.
• Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries related to the financial aspects of business plans.
• Continuously monitor and update financial models based on regulatory changes or business needs.

🎓 Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, regulatory reporting, or a similar role, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of EMI, payment services, or e-money regulations in key jurisdictions (e.g., EU, UK, US, Asia) would be a great advantage
• Proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, or specialized software).
• Familiarity with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and financial reporting requirements would be considered as a great advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA/CPA preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
